It’s International Day of Pink and I’m at a loss for words …kind of.
Today we are asked to band together in solidarity to support those who have been bullied, especially those who have been bullied about their sexual orientation or gender identity. We wear pink, our kids wear pink, and in doing so we celebrate and encourage diversity in our communities.
I’m confounded today because it is still necessary to have this conversation. We still need to be educated on how we should, and should not, treat each other. [Read more…]
