Last week a U.S. consulting firm dropped the proverbial mic following the announcement of their new game changing parental leave policy.
On April 13, 2016, Ernst & Young LLP (EY) announced an unprecedented facelift to their parental benefits package. EY revealed that effective June 1, 2016 they will be expanding their employee benefit to up to 16 fully paid weeks for all new moms and dads in the U.S.
Through equalizing parental leave benefits; EY solidified their progressive stance in identifying the evolving needs of families, while in the process calling out their competitors for lagging behind a benefit that is “unmatched in professional service”.
